It was a truly amazing experience to witness, from the other side, the magic that we work on behind the scenes every day. Sitting in the auditorium, we didn’t see the tasks or the briefings, but rather the seamless professionalism and the perfect guest experience.
Ricsi’s story – from hosting duties to heading up audience services
The greatest success story of the collaboration between the Circus and our Agency is Ricsi himself, who this time hosted our team-building event. For us, a long-term partnership is not just about the shifts we’ve worked, but also about professional development.
Ricsi joined the Apple PS team back when he was still a student. As a host, he accompanied us to all sorts of events: he worked at stadiums, concerts and exclusive events, and over time we entrusted him with supervisory duties as well. It was with us that he learnt how to handle unexpected situations calmly, communicate with all sorts of people, and take responsibility as the face of an event.
And today? He is the head of customer services at the Budapest Grand Circus. The circle is complete: now it is he who, from the customer’s perspective, welcomes, briefs and coordinates Apple PS’s current on-site team. When he sees the young people working today, he simply smiles and says:
„I see myself in them.”
Ricsi’s journey is the best proof that working for a hostess agency is not just a flexible student job, but a genuine springboard that can lead to a serious professional career. This lovely, well-structured story says more than anything else about what happens when an agency and a partner think in terms of long-term cooperation.
Our hostesses lead the way on exclusive behind-the-scenes tours
It is this mutual trust and local knowledge, built up over many years, that enables the Apple PS hostess team to play a key role in the Circus’s ever-expanding range of premium services. Few people realise it, but the Budapest Grand Circus now also hosts special birthday parties! At birthday parties timed to coincide with the weekend performances, children can celebrate in a private room and then watch the show from premium seats. The most exciting packages also include an exclusive backstage tour, where children can get a glimpse of the world behind the scenes.
As an agency, we take immense pride in the fact that these complex programmes and behind-the-scenes tours are led by Apple PS hostesses. Here, our colleagues are professional hosts who create experiences to last a lifetime.
Staying in balance in a changing world
During our team-building event, we were treated to the stunning production *Mirázs – Örökség*, but behind the scenes, the Circus is already working flat out to prepare for the winter season. On 7 November, circus life will resume with the show *Gömbtánc*.
This Christmas circus journey takes us into the wondrous world of spheres – amongst the planets and into the mysteries of the human soul. On stage, a world is born from a simple object (a ball, a balloon or a bubble), whilst the performance seeks to answer an age-old question: how can we maintain our balance in a world that never stands still beneath us?
As a hostess agency, this is precisely our role: to be a stable, reliable source of support for our partners, even in the midst of the busiest events. And with a partner with whom we share a common history and common goals, it is much easier to maintain this balance.
